Some products need explaining before they sell
Animated and live-action explainer films for companies whose product is genuinely hard to describe in a sentence.
Video encryption is invisible, technical and hard to sell. We built an explainer that showed where Verimatrix sits in the delivery chain without asking the viewer to understand cryptography.
Lytics Cloud Connect is a genuinely technical product. Animation let us show what the platform does with a customer’s data, which live action could not have done at any budget.

Some things cannot be filmed. Software, chemistry, data moving between systems, anything happening inside a machine or a body. Animation is not a cheaper substitute for live action in those cases, it is the only honest way to show what is happening.
We script, storyboard, animate, record voice and deliver, all in-house.
Plenty of explainers work better as a person talking to camera with graphics over the top. We will tell you which one your product needs, including when the answer is the cheaper one.
Most explainer videos fail in the script, not the animation. The idea is introduced in the wrong order, or the film explains what something is before establishing why anyone should care.
We spend the first week on the argument. The visual style is the last decision, not the first.
Discovery, then a script you sign off, then a storyboard you sign off, then production. Nothing gets animated until the argument is agreed, because changing a script costs an afternoon and changing finished animation costs a week.
It replaces a meeting. A sales team that spends the first twenty minutes of every call explaining what the product is can send the film instead and start the call at minute twenty-one.
That is the return, and it is measurable in a way that engagement metrics are not.
What to ask before you hire anyone
A short film that shows what a product does and why it matters, usually sixty to ninety seconds. The useful ones answer the buyer’s unspoken objection rather than listing features.
It depends on the approach. Live action with graphics, 2D motion, and full 3D are three different budgets. We price against the brief rather than a rate card. Full package pricing is published on our video production pricing page.
Discovery, then strategic messaging, then a script, then a storyboard, then style, then production and revisions. The order matters: each stage is signed off before the next begins, so nothing expensive gets built on an argument nobody agreed to.
Animation, voice, sound design and music are handled by our own team, which includes NYU Master of Film graduates.
Animated explainer videos are incredibly versatile and effective across a wide range of industries. Businesses in technology, software/SaaS, healthcare, education, finance, real estate, and eCommerce often use them to break down complex services or products into digestible, visual stories. At New Evolution Video, we’ve helped clients from diverse sectors create animated explainer videos that educate, engage, and convert—regardless of how technical or niche the subject matter may be.
Bring us the product and the person who has to understand it. We will tell you whether it needs animation, live action, or neither.
