Before cameras and scripts, Richard Tiland spent five seasons as a commercial fisherman in the Bering Sea, Alaska. It built discipline, grit, and a work ethic that carries into every production we deliver today.
In 2007, Richard saw where video was heading. YouTube was changing how businesses communicate, and most companies had not caught on yet. He launched New Evolution Video with a simple idea: help businesses use web-first video content to grow their brand and reach more customers.
He was one of the first in the industry to move away from traditional videography and focus on corporate video built for online platforms. By learning SEO and digital lead generation early, he turned a local San Diego startup into a go-to production agency for mid-sized brands.
